The environment has been a major topic of discussion in the past months amongst political leaders.
What is the most significant environmental factor that our government should be concerned about this Federal Election? Explain why you feel that way and explain what you would suggest to help fix the problem.
Your response is due Oct 14, 2008 (coincidentally, election day).

Over Exaggeration?

Is global warming as big as everyone’s making it out to be? For the past fifteen years global warming has become a major topic over all of the world. Precautions have been put into place to help save the world. Billions of dollars and billions more will be put into trying to save the earth. The earth is going to die anyways as everything living thing does. Yes, we should help preserve the earth as much as possible. Yes, we should be aware of how much toxins and pollutants we produce but have some people taken it too far? What I believe will happen in this upcoming election is that parties will display a false message. Does the government really care about this to the extent some people want? After all they are the ones helping fund all the things that help pollute the earth. I believe that the political parties are smart in tricking people into believing what they want is what they will really try to do. After all those politicians could and would do anything to get your vote.
