Piece of Cake!

The Government’s new strategy to get kids to be more active is an effective way to keep teenagers healthy. How hard would it be to participate in 150 min per week of physical activity? It is a good hobby to develop on, a way to stay connected with your friends and to keep fit! All these reasons are all beneficial to the students. Furthermore, it would help teens to reconnect with the outside world instead of gaming or messaging on their computers. Many teenagers nowadays are spending most of their time on their computers, and are gradually getting less active. Since this new curriculum is mandatory for the students to complete the DPA program in order to graduate, it will definitely help encourage the teens to go out and exercise. There are so many choices of activities for teens to do to stay active and meet their DPA (Daily Physical Activity) requirements such as running, volleyball, basketball, dancing, etc. Not only does exercising more can help make teenagers healthier and active it can also help develop a more optimistic personality. Although some students may be annoyed by the fact they spend time exercising and filling in their sheets, it is not a waste of time at all! The longer you continue to exercise you will notice that it is not a burden to work out and just by participating every week for 150 min, you will see that your health will be greatly improved. It is no hassle, it is easy, and it is nothing but a piece of cake!
